Recovery of Haemal Lordosis in European Seabass Dicentrarchus labrax (Linnaeus 1758)

Lordosis of the haemal part vertebral column is a frequent abnormality in reared fish. Haemal lordosis develops during late larval and early juvenile life stages fish, mainly due to high swimming activity fish rearing tanks. In present study, we have examined whether recovers growth European seabass. Furthermore, aimed develop simple morphometric indices (PrAn1 PrAn2) that might link severity at stage with morphological quality harvesting. At 111 days post-hatching (dph, 53 ± 4 mm standard length, SL), 600 seabass juveniles lordotic (L, 200 fish) or normal (N, 400 external morphology were selected introduced common tank. 150 dph (75 7 350 randomly selected, pit-tagged transferred sea cage for on-growing up 502 (234 16 SL).
